Michael is an experienced and easy-going engineering leader. He has developed and delivered projects, maintained and improved assets and provided assurance to operations. Michael is focused on the needs of the client and his team, and the provision of fit-for-purpose solutions. No matter how large or small a job, his enjoyment comes from the people he works with to achieve goals, and the satisfaction of a job well done.
Michael has over two decades of professional and technical engineering experience combined with an undergraduate trade background and hands-on practical skills, and enjoys getting his hands dirty. With his share of learning he has developed a mature capability in integrating engineering, law, commerce, and human behaviours to provide rounded strategy and solutions.
Michael has led dynamic complex projects both large and small, some involving critical situations and multiple parties. He is adaptable to continual change, he acts with integrity at all times and is a collaborative problem solver. He has been part of the Principal’s leadership team on design and construct projects up to $0.5b in value, leading them through the complete project life cycle. He has completed investigations on assets that hold a catastrophic consequence of failure. Michael is proficient in a first principles engineering approach.
Michael has provided opinion to both plaintiff and defendant, authorities and private parties. His reporting has brought resolution to private parties, and separately been served up to and including the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
Michael is a well-planned and focused person who holds respect for others. He enjoys assisting and supporting others just as people supported him over the years. Most of all he enjoys teamwork and seeing people succeed at all levels.
